Vendor Qualifications and Our Promise

We want creative people to create. Our mission is to help inspired professionals give life to their ideas by establishing and growing successful businesses and products. To foster this creative economy, we strive to include in our market only items that are original, handmade, unique, vintage, repurposed, designed or produced locally. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you commit to only sell products and offerings that fall under this criteria. Anything not in compliance with these efforts, delightful as they may be, will not be accepted to the show or will be pulled from the market.

If we have questions regarding the nature of your products, we will email you to clarify before disqualifying you from the market. Our market is juried to ensure our vendors are unique, authentic, and local. We sure hope that’s you!

Advertising

Flow Apothecary will play a big role in our brand at Flow Yoga Locust. Here are some of the ways that we will be driving customers and brand awareness:

Flow Yoga Members - Our members will receive exclusive incentives that will drive sales to the store as we continue to grow and thrive!

Spotlighted on our social media accounts, and YouTube - Special shoutouts on our social media stories and posts. We might need assets to work with and may pull from the photos you submit with your application or from your feeds with permission, so make sure to send us links to images you’re proud to share! You can pull any of our marketing for your own use to market your participation. We encourage vendors to advertise through their own Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media!

Website Ecommerce Store - We will promote your brand on our e-commerce store and website.

Town Center Foot Traffic - As well as have our brand all around Locust and the surrounding cities.

Quarterly Open House Events - As being a part of the market, your products will be on display and advertised for our quarterly open house events.

  • Products

    Products you include in the market must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws for the type of products you offer. It is your responsibility to know which laws apply to your products and to ensure that they comply with all copyright, food handling, labeling, labor, and any other laws, rules, or regulations that apply. All products from vendors that are found to be in violation will be removed from the market immediately.

    We strive to offer products that are good for the environment and for the community. As you design, produce and package your products, please do your best to minimize packaging, reduce waste, reuse materials and recycle. Please also do your best to ensure your products are sourced ethically. Trust us, any additional cost or effort will pay off in the long run, plus we'll love you all the more.

    Pricing

    Please submit a list of prices for the products you intend to include. If you have a product that is not listed in the price sheet we will choose the next price down.

  • There are multiple vendor packages you can choose from:

    Small standard shelf space - $40 / month

    Small premium shelf space - $50 / month

    Large standard shelf space - $100 / month

    Large premium shelf space - $125 / month

    *These options mean you will be using our walls which include fixtures and shelving to showcase your products the best we can. More info will be sent with your acceptance letter.

    You are responsible for any additional in-store advertising that fits within your vendor package.

  • You may restock your inventory during market hours if you choose.

    All items may be brought through the front doors of the yoga studio. The market will be located in the back of the space, but the back door remains permanently locked. so please come through the front and ask for access to the back.

    Our staff will keep your space tidy and organized. We will reach out to you as inventory runs low on your products, but feel free to come back any time while the market is open to do your own restocking.

  • We provide a central checkout for all vendors.

    We will accept cash, digital wallets, and all major credit cards.

  • Vendor Fees

    If accepted into the market, you will receive an invoice for your vendor package. Due dates will be listed in each market application and will be charged automatically until canceled.

    Vendor fees are collected to pay for the up-front costs of marketing, insurance, and leasing our location.

    Fees are payable only via the invoice sent to you.

    Commission Fees

    Each vendor will charged 15% of the gross revenue from your products sold. This fee is used to cover credit card processing, any discounts we choose to offer as promotions, and other expenses.

  • All vendors will receive payment by Check or Zelle Deposit for their net earnings, issued by the 15th of the following month.

    You will receive a copy of your sales for the month with your payment.

  • We will do everything within our power to prevent theft of products and displays, but we cannot guarantee that items will not go missing or get broken. Our employees will be trained to spot and stop shoplifters, and we will make every effort to prevent any incidents; however, we cannot be held responsible if theft or liable if it does occur. We also have security cameras which will be used if prosecution is necessary.

  • For those who decide not to participate, we will be sad to see you go! Fees already paid upfront will be non-refundable.

    You will also have the ability to upgrade or downgrade your vendor package if open spots are available.

    If we currently have no available vendor packages in the market we will put you on our market waitlist.

  • Sales tax will be collected through our merchant processing system.

    You will be issued a payout receipt with your payment. This can be used to submit your income for tax purposes.

    Technically we are your contractor, so we do not send out 1099 forms however you can use your sales reports from our online portal to report your income on your end of year taxes.
